Naschmarkt PortraitsTom and I went to Vienna Naschmarkt to take some street portraits. It was pretty crowed and therefore loads of impressions and therefore almost impossible to decide what to photograph.

Spring PortraitsAfter enjoying the Vienna Pillowfight III flashmob, Alina and I went to Stephansplatz, got some ice cream and enjoyed the warm sun. Because the light was so extremely nice, I took some portraits of her.

Vienna Pollowfight IIIIncidentally, we heard about a flashmob to happen in downtown Vienna. A pillowfight, announced via Facebook. We were quite curious and joined the happening without pillows. Just to watch and enjoy. And – of course – to take some pictures. And it was a blast, fantastic fun!

Rays of Spring LightIt was the very first warm day of this year with bright, blue sky and a stunning, warm light. In the lunch break, Tom and I went downtown and I took some street portraits. At first I was a little shy and used my tele lens to take some candid portraits (candid means the subject [...]

Beauty Make-overI posted the pictures of the studio shooting to several forums and got lots of feedback. Some bad, some good and some really helpful. First I was a bit reluctant, but looking at the photos from another, more objective perspective reveal some flaws. So, I took some “courses” on the internet and learned from the [...]

Portrait in the ParkOn a great Saturday afternoon I convinced my lovely girlfriend to shoot some portraits at Prater, the Central Park of Vienna. Temporary DogWe’ve got a dog! Well, not really. It’s just Sia, the pet of Lory. She’s on vacation right now and we look after her. Actually, it looks like I’m surrounded by dogs recently. Anyway, a dog is always great fun!

My very first ExhibitionI planned to get my photos developed and framed for a very long time but was completely lost in the vast number of various offers. Additionally, I was suspicious of all the bargains and didn’t expect reasonable quality. Also, none of them offered all-in-one custom framing and professional frame shops are ridiculously expensive. Darn. Weeks [...]
